"From Rat Pack to Rock & Roll" (TM) He covers it all, and does it better than anyone in the business! An amazingly talented entertainer, actor, singer and musician, he brings it all together in creating his exciting shows.

To say he has a knack for imitating voices is an understatement! In any of his shows, you'll hear the best, and most authentic, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Nat 'King' Cole, Neil Diamond, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, and Johnny Rivers you've ever heard. Vintage Rock & Roll, pop, Rockabilly, Surf Guitar, Vintage Country and hilarious parodies (Ricky NelsonBob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, Donovan) round-out the show. And no two shows are ever the same!

He is an accomplished guitarist which helps keeps the music fresh, fun and real and he is backed by the best veteran musicians in the business. He also does single-tribute shows, like his tributes to Dean Martin in "For The Love of Dino", "The Rat Pack Encore" and "A Tribute to Martin & Lewis".

He's also known for his Johnny Cash Tribute as well as his Neil Diamond Tribute, and one of the newest segments of his live show is re-creating the excitement of Johnny Rivers at the Whiskey A-GoGo on the Sunset Strip during his live recording heyday. But as exacting as his impressions are, the emphasis is always on FUN! Fun for EVERYONE...Steve, the band, and the audience!

THE Dean Martin Tribute Artist

Steve Waddington is one of the foremost Dean Martin Tribute Artists in the industry. All the mannerisms, the voice, the charm, the silly playfulness and the incredible warmth combine to make him one of the top  professionals in his field.

He's perfected his craft and earned his reputation through hundreds of solo performances as well as co-starring in various "Rat Pack" and "Martin & Lewis" tribute groups. And he has the voice "...that rich, sexy baritone that just dances around a lyric."  But what really sets him apart from the rest is his effortless comedic timing and his ability to portray the actual "essence" of the King of Cool.

Comedian Johnny Dark proclaimed "...he blows my mind. He actually BECOMES Dino!"  Actor/singer/musician/funnyman Tony Russell says "Steve's the BEST in the business, bar none!" And Deana Martin (Dean's daughter and an awesome performer in her own right) said "...we love how you do Dad's songs with such obvious LOVE and RESPECT. You are not a mere impersonator, you actually HONOR my father and his music!"

Close your eyes, and you'll almost swear it was Dino singing all his hits. Open your eyes, and you won't believe how much fun you'll have watching this entertainer create the illusion of one of our most beloved industry icons. And just wait til you hear him sing in Italian!

That's why we are able to say, without reservation, "Steve Waddington is a THE ultimate Dean Martin tribute performer.

In his own show, "From Rat Pack to Rock & Roll", Steve gets to spread his wings a little and show  more of the full range of what he's capable of doing. And, as good as his "Dino" is, you will be blown-away at how well he captures the vocal and performance nuances of some of the other legendary singing icons, like his playful, yet spot-on salutes to Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett, Nat "King" Cole, Bobby Darin, and more.

"...but when he picks up his guitar, the show really kicks into high gear!"

He's also an accomplished guitarist, and when he picks up the guitar, it's a "show-within-a-show"! Get ready for the "power-medleys", the amazingly original, fun, high-energy and authentic impersonations of NEIL DIAMOND, JOHNNY CASH, ELVIS, BUDDY HOLLY, CARL PERKINS, RICKY NELSON, EVERLY BROS  and others. You will be delighted and amazed as he re-creates Johnny Rivers Live at the Whiskey A GO GO, as well as his hilarious send-ups of Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, Donovan, Mick Jagger and whole lot more. And his tribute to the "hippy-dippy sixties" is as good as it gets! He even occasionally dips into a little country, taking on Conway Twitty, Willie & Waylon and the boys, Dwight Yoakam, Chris Isaak, etc.

But make no mistake, this is NOT a "Man-of-a-Thousand-Voices" type show where the performer warbles five seconds of a voice before attempting another. The songs are delivered organically and authentically. In fact, Steve even does a full Johnny Cash Show, or Neil Diamond Show...or a combination of any of the other artists he covers.  He even guest-stars, in character, at other performer's shows!

"Steve is, beyond a doubt, Southern California's #1 all-around entertainer and vocal impressionist!"

"The Retro-Rockin' All Stars", "The All-Star Tribute Band", "The Rat Pack Rockers", "The Rockin' Rat Pack", "The Retro-Rockers",  "77 Sunset Strip".  Steve's band is...

He is usually backed by his equally amazing and versatile music director, David Moscoe, on piano, as well as some of the finest backing musicians in Southern California. (Drums, bass, guitar, and occasionally a horn section, if venue size and budget permits. Dave Moscoe on keys, Gary Gibbons on drums & Bill Markus on bass pictured above and below on the Jimmy Kimmel Live stage with Steve)

And, schedule permitting, he may be joined onstage by the amazingly talented Ms. Susan Ritter who sings charming duets with Steve (she does 'June' to his 'Johnny', 'Ann-Margret' to his 'Elvis', 'Natalie' to his 'Nat') and who does her own tributes to Imelda May, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Grace Slick, Wanda Jackson, and more!

He's also done numerous voice overs for trailers and commercials, and although he enjoys the studio, his first love is live entertainment.

Casinos, cruises, restaurants, theaters, performing arts centers, nightclubs, festivals, themed events, charities, senior centers, assisted-living facilities, TV, film, radio and internet, he actually does it all!

He is simply "The Best in the Business...the Entertainment Business".

Now THAT'S Amore!
